Hyperbarics International is asking for your support on Go Fund Me.
Hyperbarics International is well known for instructing diving and clinical medical personnel on the benefits and uses of hyperbaric oxygen. However, many people may not know that Dick has also continued to treat patients and perform research in the field of hyperbaric medicine.
Over the last 45 years Dick has treated over 1,200 patients – including veterans and people have no income and/or no health insurance – often at little to no cost to the patient. Many of these patients require multiple treatments. Being a free-standing clinic, Dick has had the opportunity to see a wide range of patients’ conditions improve with the application of hyperbaric oxygen and high-pressure surface oxygen. While medical insurance may cover hyperbaric treatment for some of these conditions, many do not have hyperbaric oxygen as an “approved” therapy. Patients with traumatic brain injuries (TBI), certain types of cancer, infections, and many other conditions can benefit from the use of hyperbaric oxygen.
In addition to teaching and treating patients, Dick has continued to study and conduct research in the following focus areas: physiology of existing HBO treatments and tables; isobaric surface oxygen; traumatic brain injury; dysfunctional brains; leukemia, lymphoma, and other forms of cancer. Additional research regarding the misuse of medical antibiotics; treatment of other animal toxins; and medical health concerns of animals aboard aircraft and in restaurants, etc. is still needed. Published papers are available for most of these subjects.
100% of the donations made to Dick’s Go Fund Me campaign will go towards providing hyperbaric treatments and education to those who are in need – at no cost to the recipient!
