The Advanced Fundamentals of Diving and Operational Team Training With Chamber Operation course is for supervisors in charge of dive/medical operations. Participants enrolled in this program will learn about clinical HBO as well as dive operations and chambers.This program is to ensure supervisors are aware of the major safety problems associated with operational medical problems at dive sites and chamber facilities. This training will educate participants on the types of patients to be treated – acute, chronic, and ambulatory – as well as the types of chambers and gases for diving and medical life-support.
Other topics to be covered include air, oxygen, mechanical or spontaneous ignition, oxygen side effects, and safety management of operational air/gas supply and equipment.
